Specialty Moving Service
Western New York's trusted piano movers since 1988. Upright, baby grand, grand — we have the equipment, the crew, and the experience to move your piano safely.
A piano is one of the heaviest, most awkward, and most valuable items in any home. Move it wrong and you risk damage to the instrument, the floors, the walls — and the people doing the moving.
Pete's Moving has been handling piano moves across Western New York and the Southern Tier since 1988. We use the right equipment, the right technique, and the right crew size for every job — whether it's an upright going up a flight of stairs or a grand piano being moved across town.
Before we move your piano, we'll ask about stairs, doorways, tight hallways, and access points. No surprises on moving day.
What We Move
Standard uprights, consoles, and spinets. The most common piano move in Western New York.
Requires disassembly of legs and pedal lyre. We handle it with care every step of the way.
Full-size grands require specialized equipment and an experienced crew. We've done it many times.
The most complex piano move. We assess access points and plan every detail before moving day.
Pete's Moving has been handling piano moves across Western New York since 1988. We know what we're doing.
We use piano boards, heavy-duty straps, padded blankets, and the right crew size for every job.
Pianos are irreplaceable. We treat every instrument with the same care we'd give our own.
If a move has unusual challenges — tight stairs, narrow doorways — we'll tell you upfront, not on moving day.
